Hi, I’m Tyler.

Life can feel incredibly overwhelming when navigating a major transition, a racing mind, or profound loss. I believe you are worthy of being known and walked alongside. If you are a young adult feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, or a professional facing severe burnout and identity crises, I am here to help you find a sustainable path forward.

I am a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (RMHCI) specializing in helping young adults, college students, and professionals navigate anxiety, ADHD, grief, life transitions, and self-esteem challenges. My approach blends traditional therapy with practical, executive functioning strategies designed to help adults and students manage time, build focus, and overcome chronic overwhelm. With a Master’s degree from the Reformed Theological Seminary, I also offer specialized, Christian-informed counseling for individuals navigating deep pastoral stress, spiritual exhaustion, and ministry burnout.

As a Registered Intern, my care is backed by decades of collective experience through expert supervision. I offer high-quality, accessible counseling for Orlando professionals seeking real tools to manage anxiety, ADHD, and grief. I offer in-person and telehealth sessions across Central Florida. I see clients in East Orlando (near UCF) through Elite DNA Behavioral Health, and in Kissimmee through the Foundation Counseling Center. Reach out today to connect at the location most convenient for you.

In my free time, you can find me making up silly games with my kids, playing disc golf, enjoying a sitcom with my wife, obsessing over homemade pizza, and perfecting my dad jokes.

FAQ

  • Counseling offers a place where you can be known, understand more clearly the challenges in your life, and begin to take steps of growth. Research shows the most important and impactful part of counseling is the relationship between the client and the counselor. In the context of this relationship, evidence based interventions can be utilized to help the client reach the goals they set for counseling.

  • It can be scary to share about your inner life with someone you do not know. My goal is to make you feel comfortable and able to share at your own pace. I offer a free 15 minute phone consultation that can help you clarify if working with me is your best next step.

  • A standard counseling session is 45 minutes.

  • Each session is $100. If finances are an issue, I also offer a limited number of sliding scale clients (financial assistance application required).

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

  • I can take Aetna, Cigna, Optum, United, and Blue Cross Blue Shield.

For other providers, I can provide you with a superbill that you may submit to your insurance to see if you qualify for any out-of-network benefits.

  • I can see clients located in Florida via telehealth or in person in East Orlando (near UCF) at Elite DNA Behavioral Health or in Kissimmee at Foundation Counseling Center.
